At Gränges Powder Metallurgy SAS we have been producing advanced powder metallurgical aluminium alloys for over 30 years. Our plant is situated in Saint Avold, in the east of France and it has a max capacity of around 3500 tons. We use an inert gas atomization process which gives spherical and homogeneous particles well suited for additive manufacturing.
GPM is mostly known for its range of Dispal® alloys. This are dispersoid strengthened aluminium alloys used for high precision motion stages, optics and metrology as well as aerospace and automotive applications.
The Dispal® alloys are known for their: • Low thermal expansion rates • High specific stiffness • Very good heat dissipation • Low weight • Good wear properties • Good machinability
A new post process lines for AM powders enable us to deliver batches of over one ton packed in various packaging under inert gas. We produce both standard powders and powders on customer specification. Together with a network of selected partners we also propose printed parts from Dispal® AM alloys. Gränges Powder Metallurgy SAS is a part of the Gränges Group with head quarter in Stockholm, Sweden.
Gränges aims to have all production sites certified in accordance with ISO 14001 (environmental management), ISO 50001 (energy management), and ISO 45001 (safety management) standards as well as the sustainability standards provided by the Aluminium Stewardship Initiative. The company also has quality management systems in place, in line with the ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards.See our certificates ›
