All around Gränges, dedicated and committed people are the core of our success. Today, Gränges shine a spotlight on Teresa Ramseur, a Rolling Mill Operator at our facility in Salisbury, North Carolina, who recently marked an incredible milestone: 20 years with Gränges.
Teresa’s journey reflects the transformation of the workplace over the past two decades. When she first joined, she often faced the mindset that women didn’t belong in the industry. Since then, Gränges has made significant strides in fostering an inclusive environment where everyone can thrive.
“Management’s support has been instrumental in this positive change,” Teresa says. For Teresa, mutual respect and teamwork are essential in building a safe and supporting workplace.
“Everyone should put in the effort and prioritize safety. It’s also important that management continues to support and address challenges proactively,” she emphasizes.
Safety is a key consideration in our industry, and Teresa has seen first-hand the company’s ongoing “Always safe!” commitment.
“Over the years, we’ve implemented measures like mandatory hard hats, designated walkways, and upgraded forklifts, all contributing to a safer work environment,” she explains.
Reflecting on her time at Gränges, Teresa highlights the team spirit and collaboration among colleagues as one of the most rewarding aspects of her job.
