EcoVadis, the world’s largest and most trusted provider of business sustainability ratings has awarded Gränges a Silver medal in recognition of the company’s strong commitment to sustainability.
- I am glad that we were awarded the Silver medal and I am pleased that we have been ranked among top 10% in the industry, which is a good demonstration of our commitment to sustainability. All in all, we have received good and evenly distributed scores across all categories – environment, labour & human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement. Another notable result is that we are much above the industry in all categories, Gränges’ SVP Sustainability Sofia Hedevåg says.
EcoVadis ranks companies on a scale of 0 to 100 under the following scheme: Top 1%: Platinum (a score between 73-100), Top 5%: Gold (a score between 66-72), Top 25%: Silver (a score between 54-65), Top 50%: Bronze (a score between 45-53). Gränges’ overall score was 62.
