Gränges was granted the Advanced Performance Award, given to a supplier that has made an outstanding contribution to Denso’s performance. The award was handed out on May 15, 2023, in a ceremony in Nagoya, Japan, by Denso’s President Koji Arima and President-Designate Shinnosuke Hayashi.
Denso Corporation is one of the world’s largest automotive suppliers, providing thermal, powertrain, mobility, electrification, and electronic systems to car makers and other manufacturers around the world. It’s also a key global customer to Gränges.
“I’m extremely happy to receive this recognition! We’ve had a close partnership with Denso for decades, and this award shows the value and possibilities of TRILLIUM® and our advanced brazing technology for electrification applications,” says Steve Shiraishi, President, Gränges Japan.
The motivation for the award was the great contribution of Gränges TRILLIUM® solution to expanding the sales of Denso heat management products for electrical vehicles, the flux residue reduction necessary for Electrical Vehicle applications, and contributed significantly to reducing Denso’s carbon emissions in the flux coating process.
“There is nothing more rewarding than seeing how our innovation and long-term partnerships help customers to be successful in their markets. To me, this award underlines the importance of creating circular and sustainable solutions in partnership with our customers, a central part of our Navigate strategy,” says Jörgen Rosengren, CEO at Gränges.Read more about Automotive HEX and Trillium®
