Over the past year, Gränges has strengthened its position in several key areas, including public policy engagement, industry collaborations, and governance. Some examples include the commitment to science-based targets, joining the First Mover Coalition, and conducting a new climate opportunity analysis based on the company’s Double Materiality Assessment.
Sandra Rumélius, Director Sustainability Reporting at Gränges, comments: "Our strong CDP rating demonstrates our commitment to transparency and ambitious climate action. We have made solid progress in areas like governance, industry collaboration, and emissions reduction, but we are not stopping here. By continuously strengthening our climate strategy and deepening engagement across our value chain, we are building a more sustainable and resilient aluminum industry."
